Are goals big or small?

I often receive this question. “How do I set the right goals, Christina? I don't want to be thinking too small or big!”

First of all there are no right or wrong goals! Goal setting must not be a challenging task, it’s essential though to know your why. (I have created a tool for this)

Why is it important for you?

Once you identify your why. Set your goal without thinking if it’s big or small!

I know that your ego voice might start the party, you should turn off the music and remember that you deserve what you wish for! AND you are the only one that is stopping you.

Now that you know your why and your worth, set your goal and make it specific and measurable. Your goals should be specific and measurable, so you can track your progress and determine whether you're on the right track. Avoid vague goals like "become successful" or "get in shape" and instead be more specific, such as "increase revenue by 20%" or "lose 10 pounds in 2 months."

Set achievable goals: While it's important to challenge yourself, you don't want to set goals that are impossible to achieve. Be realistic and set goals that you know you can accomplish with your action plan.

Break them down: If your goal is “too big”, break it down into smaller, more manageable steps. This will help you avoid feeling overwhelmed and give you the feeling of accomplishment as you achieve each milestone and you know that I always recommend you to build gratitude. Each action is important.

Review and adjust: Regularly review your progress and adjust your goals as needed. If you're making great progress, that’s a win and you should celebrate!. If you're struggling to make progress, re-evaluate your approach and adjust your goal accordingly.

Remember to acknowledge every milestone of your goal, building gratitude can transform your mindset amazingly. I am always here to support you design your wins.

P.s the "S.M.A.R.T Goals" article can support you to make your goals S.M.A.R.T.
